INSTRUCTION FOR Push-In "Stealth" VENT

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Airlette Push In Stealth vent.

1. SELECT AN AREA OF COVERING FOR VENT INSTALLATION. (Locate vent at highest angular section of cover for best results. Vent must be mounted in an angular manner to shed rain/snow.

2. PLACE VENT ONTO SLECTED COVER AREA. (Consider area required to install vent to avoid contact with any interior cover framing structures.)

3. PRESS CENTER FLEX-MEMBER (only) DOWN WHILE PUSHING VENT FORWARD/UPWARD MOTION AGAINST SELECTED COVER SURFACE. (Note: The PUNCTURING POINT of CENTER FLEX MEMBER will perforate the plastic cover and SERRATED EDGES will automatically cut a slit-type hole into cover during installation.)

** OUTSIDE FLEX-MEMBER SHOULD REMAIN ON EXTERIOR SURFACE OF COVERING MATERIAL.

4. SQUEEZE "END-TABS" TOWARD EACH OTHER WHILE PUSHING/INSTALLING VENT INTO COVER UNTIL COVER MATERIAL SLIPS/FALLS INTO "LOCKING NOTCHES" OR VENT. (Smooth any wrinkles at front end of vent before releasing pressure from "End-Tabs" of vent.)

**SPECIAL NOTE: FOR USE OF THIS VENT WITH HEAVY GUAGE PLASTIC OR FABRIC COVER MATERIALS may require pre-cutting (manually) a slit-type hole into cover(2-3/4 inches) prior to installation of vent. (Follow the above basic instructions after cutting slit-type hole.

Caution Note: Some cover materials may require a strip of adhesive tape to be placed across the OUTSIDE FLEX-MEMBER of vent to prevent side movement of vent after installation.
